DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. — The Georgia State Patrol said they are searching for an SUV involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a man walking in Douglas County.
The crash happened around 6:50 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Thornton Road and Factory Shoals Road. When officers arrived, they found a man fatally injured on the west shoulder of the road.
Investigators at the scene collected evidence who said it belonged to an Infiniti FX35, between the years 2009 and 2011. The SUV’s color remains unknown.
