GWNNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett County police are searching for the person who fired the shot that killed a 15-year-old boy Tuesday night.
Officers said they were called out to Bernice Court for a reported shooting and learned that someone from the scene took the young victim to the hospital.
When they arrived at the scene, investigators said they found a crime scene in the roadway.

Police said they put a call out in the area hospitals that a gunshot wound victim would likely be arriving. One of the hospitals called a short time later and reported a juvenile had come in and had died from his injuries.
Investigators have not released the boy’s name yet but they believe this all started from some sort of fight in the middle of the street because that’s where police say the shooting happened...
